ORBIT THE JUGGLER

 Juggling Geometry

For

Learning Skills

Workshop July 10 and July 31 in Bakersfield Vermont

Using Juggling, unicycle, and a variety of 3-D Props,

Will teach your audience a brand new, ancient language.  This language is ancient because a major component of it was first mentioned in print by Plato 2,400 years ago.  It is brand new because in modern times Plato’s ideal geometric forms have been rediscovered by scientists in the structure of everything from viruses to snowflakes, tornadoes to diamonds.

Through humorous storytelling and a variety of circus arts, ORBIT THE JUGGLER will reveal a simple, natural, visual language.  Numbers and shapes can be lifted out of the context of physics and chemistry to be used as an orientation device for thinking and communications.  Be amazed and entertained as Orbit shows you the language of geometry and the meaning of language.

In the hand of scientists and engineers, basic understanding of number and shape have given our society a miraculous mastery of our physical universe.  Crisp and clear communication amongst participants has been crucial to the development of science.  Yet outside the technical realm, people often struggle to understand each other.  Headlines blare of battles between siblings, spouses, races, and nations.  When communication is poor and meanings are obscure, misunderstanding, conflict and even violence results.

Orbit will show and tell how we can address these global, economic, environmental, and personal challenges with an easy-to-learn visual language.  A meaning and communication defogger for those who see the limitations of speech and print alone.
